  • My dad Billy K. Lovelace was placed in Camp Nelson April 29, 2014. His committal service was done with great honor and dignity. This is such a peaceful place, and the staff is very helpful.

  • I visited Camp Nelson Cemetery on June 23, 2017. I hosted a tour group and had scheduled a tour through the cemetery office. The cemetery director was ill on this date so our tour was conducted by the Manager of the Grounds, Jason. He did a wonderful job and the tour was very informative. It is amazing the background logistics required to maintain the cemetery in its current state. I would like to thank the office staff for their help in arranging the tour, and especially Jason for conducting our tour. This is truly a sacred place where the remains of many of our nations heroes are buried. A great place to visit to better understand how our nation continues to honor our veterans daily.

  • My grandfather served in in WW2, and the remainder of his life, was buried here in 1977. My kids and I visit his graveside at least twice a year. The grounds are always immaculate and it is a great place to have a picnic, while honoring the heroes of U.S. wars dating back to the Civil War period.
